Our local council is to write to all local residents regarding their plans for speed hump installation.

You may remember that I wrote to you some time ago about the difficulties my invalid partner and I experience locally with speed humps. I write to inform you that all is not lost. After months of complaining the local council has written to every household in the village proposing that as the roads are due for re- surfacing would we state our preference as to whether or not the humps should be replaced. Their reason for so doing is in response to the amount of claims generated by fed up motorists. I will keep you informed as to the outcome.
