Re-tyred

At the age of 77 I have been offered the chance to run a 'company car' with advice to get one with a low emission rate to avoid as much tax as possible.

Over the past six years I have run three Mercedes A180 diesels averaging 6,000 miles a year at an average of 42.3 mpg. I like nearly everything about this model but ask can you think of a suitable alternative with a lower tax band and economy?
