Quiet, retyring person

I have a 2-year-old Toyota Prius hybrid car and I find the road noise on tarmac is quite high. The tyres fitted are Michelin Primacy 215/45R17. Can you suggest anything that will reduce the road noise to make travel comfortable?

Yes, switch to the smaller wheel size of 16" with 195/55 tyres. Far more comfortable. But, of course, it does mean buying a new set of wheels as well as tyres.
