Will I be take to court for my parking charge?

I emailed you in May explaining to to that I got a parking ticket from UKPC. I parked in a disabled stop I had a disabled book but I must have forgotten to put it on, they could see it in my car anyway. When I got back I got a ticket.

I have been told this is a private run firm. You advised me to ignore it which I have done, but now I have got a letter from the debt recovery company.

This car park was not a paying carpark anyway.

Am I doing the right thing? Do you know anything about UKPC FIRM?

Will I get men knocking on my door? Will they take me to court?

Of 1,800,000 penalty charges issued by members of the BPA last year, 845 resulted in commencement of court action, 49 actually went to court and BPA members won 24. Those are the odds. They cannot take any action against your property without a court order. That would be theft.
