Buying a Honda - which model?

You talked up the old 2.0 Type-S in an answer today, and I see from a recent response you seem to like the old 2200 Type S as well. Are these still available (golf clubs and trolley space essential) and do I understand correctly that you are not keen on the Type-R?

The 2002 - 2006 Civic Type S was a specific model with a detuned 160PS chain cam Type R engine. A great car. Never had a 2.2 diesel. I was not referring to the Type S designation on the 2006 - 2011 Civic. That's a 3 door that robs the model of much of its practicality.
