Emissions - why have they changed on my BMW?

Can you please tell my why my 57 plate 118d 5-door is classed as producing 123g/km when in your list of emissions it is only classed as 119g/km with a £30 tax?

BMW made changes to that engine in late 2007 that brought the emissions down to 119g/km. It has become common for manufacturers to make small changes to emissions so that they sneak in under tax bands. The downside is that existing owners are left with the original, more expensive to tax, emissions and it's confusing for buyers when the same car can have two (or more) different CO2 outputs.
