Is a Jaguar XF suitable for high mileage use?

I have been thinking of changing my Octavia vRS (petrol) due to my high mileage of 25,000 per year, and I am very wary of buying a manual due to DMF failure. I am lucky enough to have some money available to aid my purchase and have found a Jaguar XF 3.0 Premium Luxury at a Jaguar dealer for £22,990. My uncle has one and loves it, so I wondered if this might be a good high mileage bet as I plan to keep it until retirement in seven years time, when it may have clocked up almost 200,000 miles. My Octavia is a May 2011 with 18,000 miles. Any thoughts would be helpful.

This will probably be the 240, not the 275. But nevertheless it is a splendid conveyance, probably capable of 40-43mpg. It does need to be worked to keep the EGRs and DPFs clear and will eventually need a new timing belt, though I have never heard of one failing on this engine either in 3.0-litre or 2.7-litre capacity. The turbos get extremely hot after a long ascent, so it's wise to idle the engine for two minutes before switching off.
