Will 16-inch wheels give me a more comfortable ride?

If I fit 16-inch wheels and 205/55 R 16 summer tyres to my 2010 Octavia VRS, in your opinion would I get a more comfortable ride than on the 18-inch wheels and 225/40 R18 tyres fitted as standard?

I am not a `boy racer` and am very happy with the car apart from the ride on our B-roads. My Insurance company is happy with the move should I undertake it.

Definitely. Pleased your insurer is happy. www.tyremen.co.uk will do you a set of TUV approved Alutec 16-inch alloys for £335 INC VAT, but + tyres.
