Skoda Yeti 4x4 - what are the best winter tyres?

I purchased a new Skoda Yeti 4x4 a few months ago and want to fit winter tyres. The Yeti is on 17-inch wheels, but I am planning to downgrade to 16s for winter. I go to shoots for most weekends and want a tyre that can cope with muddy winter fields. What tyres would you suggest I buy?
