Which car to replace my Ford Mondeo?

Any suggestions as to what I should replace my 4-year-old Mondeo Titanium X TDCI 5-door auto with? Since acquiring it in 2009 it has completed 50,000 miles and has given excellent service (apart from the exceptional wear of the 18-inch low profile tyres). I have been considering a low mileage Hyundai i40 Tourer (premium) and am willing to spend circa £20,000 for a replacement vehicle. As I cannot find another low mileage Mondeo (the same model very rare) is the Hyundai worth considering or what else should I consider? The aim is to keep the replacement vehicle for at least five years. Must be automatic, and can be petrol or diesel.

I think the KIA Optima 'Tech' spec is a bit better. We compared it in a group test to the other cars in its class last August and it was the surprise winner, beating a Mondeo and Insigna among others. It has a slightly longer wheelbase and lots of rear legroom (like a Skoda Superb), but it must be Tech spec to get satnav, sensible non-bling wheels and tyres that ride well.
