Which economical, comfortable car for high mileages?

I'm looking at spending about £8000 on a car to replace my now tired 200,000-mile Focus. Since I'm doing over 30,000 pa, it needs to be both economical and comfortable on a long drive (120 miles a day). Bit of a problem with a lot of the small cars. If I finance over three years, I'll end with a car with at least 90,000 on it. I’m thinking of a year old Peugeot 207 1.6-litre diesel with 15,000 miles from Motorpoint for £8000? Or the new Dacia Sandero? What about an older high mileage new-shape Prius?

A Sandero 1.5DCI 90 makes a lot of sense if thought of as a 'disposable car', and for £395 extra it comes with a 5-year warranty. The 207 1.6HDI 90 is okay. Toyota has seen Prius used as taxis with mega miles because there is very little stress on the simplified drivetrains.
