County court claim for private parking fine - what should I do?

I received a parking charge notice from Parking Eye a little while ago, subsequent letters followed, all of which I ignored. I have today received a county court claim form with a claim.

Could you please advise? All previous advice suggested I ignore the threatening letters from Parking Eye. What should I do?

Whose previous advice? The law changed in October 2012. You now have a court order against you and if you do not pay the bailiffs will visit your house and remove items they regard to be enough to re-sell to recover the amount owed, plus their fee: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/private-parking-penalties/
