Putting a Porsche into storage - what should I do?

A relative of mine is fortunate enough to have recently purchased a new car to use as her daily driver. She is keeping her previous car, a 2010 Porsche Boxter (owned from new) as a second car for occasional weekend and summer use.

What precautions or actions would you recommend to keep the Porsche in good condition despite being stood for potentially long periods without use? The car will be garaged when not used.

Not good for a water cooled Porsche to be left sitting for months on end, even in a garage. Needs to be taken out and run on dry days as often as possible. Unless the garage is heated and de-humidified the brake discs will rust and there will be other condensation damage. The battery needs to be hooked up to a battery conditioning float charger. The car should be covered with a cotton sheet.
