BMW 320i timing chain change?

I am looking at buying an E90 320i saloon, likely around MY 2006 with 75-110k miles, with the port injection 150PS 2.0i engine, manual. Can you confirm this is a cam chain engine and should that chain or tensioner be changed and if so at what age/mileage.

Yes, chain cam. It's advisable to change the nylon chain tensioners at this sort of mileage, and to double change the oil: once, then again after 1,000 miles, draining from the sump plug, to get rid of some of the sludge in the oil that will have accumulated if BMW's LongLife oil change regime has been followed, particularly if old oil was siphoned out at these oil changes.
