How can I remove suncream stains from paintwork?

I've had difficulty removing 'finger marks' around door handles and boot lids. They look like a white sheen from one angle and a darker, greasy residue from another. I think they might be due to sweat or even suntan lotion that might be on my fingers after playing golf.

I've tried Autoglym polish and tar remover, without success. On a previous car, I even took it to a specialist in a nearby town. Again, their polish was a failure. Can you help?
