Should all car dealerships be registered as a limited company?

I've found a car that's advertised for sale by a local dealer. However, when I went to view it, the dealer had no business signs up to show the company name. There also weren't any prices on the cars.

We asked to view a 2005 Skoda Octavia but he said it was at the garage getting a new clutch and to come back later in the week. The salesman did have a jacket with the company name, but no other signs to show he was an official business. He said that they are internet based and this is why they don't have prices on the car.

I checked company's house and they are not registered. The man we spoke to seemed nice enough but I just wanted advice as to whether they should be registered as a limited company and whether no business signs should give us concern?

They don't have to be registered as a limited company, but everything you have told me suggests they might be dodgy so why chase a dodgy car when there are thousands more out there that aren't dodgy.
