SUV needed for five mile commute

I'm changing my Volvo XC60 (not very impressed with it, lots of niggles) and am looking at getting a 1-2yr old SUV with a budget of £20k. My partner has a new Nissan Juke diesel, but does a lot of miles (100 a day commute) so the SUV will be used mostly by myself for a five mile commute. I've looked at the Ford Kuga but found the 150 PS diesel lacking in power compared to my Volvo, is there anything you can suggest that I can look at?

I would not recommend any diesel for five miles a day. Instead it has to be petrol or hybrid. Worth considering a used Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV or Toyota RAV-4 hybrid. Or a smaller Suzuki Vitara S 1.4 BoosterJet or a Peugeot 2008 1.2 PureTech 130 six-speed GT.
