Is the Fiat 500 really worth £2000 more than the Ford Ka?

I am looking to replace my Vauxhall Astra with either a Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge or a Ford Ka 1.2 Zetec. The Ka is on offer in August for £8924 otr as opposed to £10,865 for the Fiat. Is almost £2000 too much to pay for a cool image?

Check the specs against each other and see what sort of discount you can get on the 500. Discounts are now available. That will narrow the gap.

Stylish and full of character. Really affordable to buy. Low running costs.
Easy to drive and economical. Based on the Fiat 500 but handles much better. More room in rear than 500.
