I do approximately 20,000 miles per year, of which the majority is motorway driving. Can you recommend a car with good fuel economy on a budget of £6000?

Probably a KIA or Hyundai with the 1.6 i-DTEC engine or a Honda Civic with the 1.8 i-VTEC engine.
