Preview - The Commercial Vehicle Show 2017

The UK’s largest van and pick-up show will open its doors to the public on 25 – 27 April and give operators the chance to see the latest vehicles and products. The Commercial Vehicle Show 2017 takes place at the NEC in Birmingham and costs nothing to enter if you register before the event.
The all-new Volkswagen Crafter will be making its UK debut at the show and visitors will be able to see the full range, with panel van and dropside versions on display.
Volkswagen will also be launching its extended opening hours service at the show, which will be available across its entire network of 72 van centres and 25 authorised repairers. This means that customers can have their vehicle serviced or maintained at a time to suit them, beyond the usual 9-5 opening hours.
Isuzu will be showcasing the new 2017 D-Max, with updated styling, new engines and lower running costs. We've already driven the updated pick-up and you can read more about it here.
As in previous years, Ford will be at the NEC in full force, with all of its CV range on offer. There will also be two new special editions for the Transit Custom panel van - the Colour Edition and Sport series - which will provide greater personalisation options for buyers, with the choice of bodykits, special paint schemes and racing stripes.
Renault will also be in attendance and it's rumoured that it could unveil the all-electric Master Z.E. The large panel van will boast zero emissions and be capable of travelling up to 124 miles on a single charge. It should reach showrooms in December 2017.
In addition to the dozens of new vans on display, the Commercial Vehicle Show 2017 show will also host hundreds of displays from independent racking firms, security specialists and trailer providers, with special show deals and discount on a range of products.
