All-new SsangYong Musso gets seven year warranty as standard
SsangYong has confirmed that the next-generation Musso will be sold with a seven year/150,000 mile warranty as standard. The one-tonne pick-up is available to buy now, with prices starting at £19,995 (excluding VAT).
The 2018 SsangYong Musso is based on the same ladder-frame chassis as the Rexton SUV and can carrying payloads weighing 1085kg, while its braked towing capacity peaks at an impressive 3.5 tonnes. The load desk also comes equipped with 12V/120W power outlets.

However, while the Musso retains one-tonne payload and coil spring suspension set-up, it loses some of its bargain basement appeal, with its £19,995 starting price being notably higher than the £15,995 that the old model started at.
The interior has been completely redesigned with a new dashboard and higher levels of standard kit. All models have space for five adults and get DAB radio and Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones, along with cruise control, automatic windscreen wipers and air con and electric folding door mirrors.
Powered by a four-cylinder 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine with 181PS, the Musso can be specified with a six-speed manual or torque converter automatic gearbox, with the latter being the most efficient thanks to its advertised 35.8mpg. The manual version will return an official 32.9mpg.
