Should I get a manufacturer extended warranty?

I have a Skoda Superb Hatch 1.5 petrol that has 32,000 on the clock. I have been offered a one-year extended warranty by Skoda for £156 with a £250 excess. I drive between 10,000 and 12,000 miles annually. Is this deal worth having?

Difficult to advise, without knowing what's included and excluded in the extended warranty.

My advice would be to check the terms and conditions of the cover (and compare it with an independent warranty provider). A warranty product that excludes wear and tear will probably exclude 90% of the things that will go wrong on a 4 or 5 year old Skoda Superb.
