Buying a small van

I'm looking to replace my old Escort van, with a 2-3 yr old vehicle. Most driving is 25 mile round trip commute, but occasionally I need space for the dog, going to the builders yard, etc. A Berlingo Multispace looks OK, but too large. Do you have any suggestions? Of course the lower the VED the better.

Astravan. (Strangely a Corsavan is bigger.) Or think Citroen Nemo/Peugeot Bipper/Fiat Fiorino.

I need a good van for deliveries in town, so it needs to be small and easy to park, but I don't really want to use a car in case people see inside. I don't know where to start?!
All the Fiat Fiorinos for sale have the 75 engine, is that all there is?
I'm looking for a cheap new car to do all things... it'll be a compromise and your HJ review points me towards a Fiat Nemo. A Panda is just too small with only 4 seats. It's got to be cheap to buy/run/insure,...
