Can I get a new Ranger to replace mine with faulty paint?
I have a 2 month old Ford Ranger. Paint work is faulty over half of the truck. Ford has said there is a few which have this problem and we have a e-mail to verify this.
Told to fetch it back for a paint PARF and then they will sort it out under warranty, which is great.
My question is, can I demand a new one as this truck will never be as it should be, show room condition. They would have to respray the whole truck to make it right and even then a few years down the line when the warranty has run out there could be problems.

You might be able to under Clegg v Ole Andersson 2003 House of Lords. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/ But a bill for new consumer legislation is now before parliament that will give the vendor one chance to rectify the problem and only after failing will he have to give a refund.
