What is the best pick-up?

I currently own a Mitsubishi L200 Animal covering 25K a year, mostly motorway miles. It is also used for towing a rally car and some weight in the rear.

Had fantastic reliability, though found the seats hard and lacking in support. It also needs a 6th gear. What would you recommend to replace it? Needs to cruise well, tow well, be very comfortable and reliable, and must be manual.

I've heard horror stories about the Nissan Navara's reliabilty, the new Volkswagen Amorak seems to lack punch, the Isuzu has two turbos and that sounds expensive if there are any issues.

I love the new Ford Ranger, though having had a Ford before I found Ford garages treat you like a - well lets not go there.

Can you ease my mind on any of the ones I have listed, or should I stick with an L200 or consider a Toyota Hilux?

Isuzu D-Max. The new Ford Ranger has run into some quality problems.
