Am in danger of invalidating my vehicle's warranty?

I have been told that I have to fit a particular model of reversing camera to my new motor home (as the motor home is already wired for this) and that it has to be fitted by the dealer I bought the motor home from, otherwise my warranty on the habitation unit will be invalidated. Is this correct?

Yes. Those are the terms of the warranty contract. You accept the terms or you don't. If you have the camera fitted by someone else and the dealer voids your warranty you could argue the case in court if you wanted to go to the time and expense, but I don't think you would win because you had breached the contract. What are you talking about anyway? A couple of hundred pounds extra on a forty thousand pound vehicle?
