Can you recommend a good nine seater?

I need to buy a nine seater and am looking at the Volkswagen Transporter and the Mercedes-Benz Viano. Which is best?

New Mercedes coming out next year, but, to travel in, I rate it as better than the T5. And, though Mercedes 2.1 diesel is an old engine, it is chain cam, whereas all you can get in a T5 these days is a belt cam 2.0TDI.
