Why can't I get insurance for my Tourneo Connect?
I have a 2003 Ford Tourneo Connect. When applying for insurance the insurance company or broker can find my vehicle on their database but as soon as they find out it has seats and windows they decline (it doesn`t say on its database that its a Tourneo).
If I didn't tell them my vehicle has windows and seats (from new) and took out insurance with them, would my policy be valid when they find out its a Tourneo?

There were very few Mk 1 Connect Tourneos sold in the UK so your problem is simply that the database the insurer is using does not have it. You have to go to a broker who will work a bit harder to find an insurer who will underwrite it. If you simply insure it as a van the insurance will be voided for failing to declare that it is in fact a Tourneo.
