Is the Volkswagen Transporter DSG reliable?

I'm considering replacing my 2013 Volkswagen Transporter Kombi with the new T6 BiTurbo version. Can you tell me if the DSG gearbox is reliable?

There is now a new seven-speed wet clutch transverse DSG/s-tronic capable of handling more torque than the old six-speed DSG/s-tronic. I've only ever driven it in the Audi TTRS where it was excellent, with none of the vices of the old six-speed. You want to make sure you get the EA288 manifold in head BiTurbo engine, not the old EA189 BiTurbo that had problems, and you want to make sure you get the seven-speed box.
