Should I get a petrol or diesel 2017 Audi Q5?

I'm looking at putting my order in for a 2017 Audi Q5, but should I go for a petrol or diesel 2.0-litre? My mileage, 8000 a year, and the current diesel backlash would suggest petrol is the right choice. But I'm concerned with my ability to resell the petrol version and the resale value long term. The market for a big petrol Q5 seems tiny. Any thoughts or guidance on the specific model?

The market for the petrol Audi Q5 was tiny during the diesel years, but, judging by my postbag, I think that demand over the next few years for used petrol engined SUVs will exceed supply, so I'd rather have my money invested in an SUV with a petrol engine than with a diesel engine.
