Volkswagen offers winter van check

With the cold weather arriving this week and snow predicted, it's a good time to check that your van is ready for winter. And if you own a Volkswagen, you can get a Winter Once-Over at a Volkswagen Van Centre for £25 plus VAT.

It's a 30-point visual check that covers lights, brakes, fluid top-ups for antifreeze and screen wash and a battery check, including a charge if necessary. It also includes a one-litre Castrol LongLife III 'check-it kit’ and a Genuine Accessories Winter Care Pack which has a retail value of more than £30.  The winter care pack includes super-concentrated screen wash, de-icer, a rubber care stick and an ice scraper, so it's pretty good value all told.

Owners wishing to take advantage of the Winter Once-Over offer should visit their local Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Van Centre. The offer is available until February 2014.
