Ford cuts prices of Transit parts
Ford has cut the price of certain parts for older Transit and Transit Connect models as it looks to entice owners of older vans into Ford workshops.
The price cuts of up to 58 per cent apply to parts for vans that are more than four years old and include reductions on items such as brakes, brake linings, filters, clutches, flywheels and chassis running gear. As an example a 2000-2006 Transit clutch slave cylinder is now £200 cheaper.
The price cuts are part of Ford's Motorcraft 4+ programme, a parts and service package aimed at drivers of commercial vehicles and cars aged four years and older.
Jon Wellsman, Ford of Britain Customer Service Division director, said: "Small businesses need to watch every penny, and these price cuts on regular service parts will bring savings that customers really notice. Ford commercial vehicle dealers offer top quality parts installed by trained technicians now at an even more competitive cost."
