What's a good small used van that is ULEZ compliant?
What's a good small/medium (ie a little smaller than a VW T5) van with comfortable seats for driver and passenger to buy as a used vehicle which is ulez compliant

You can read our guide to the best small vans here - vans.honestjohn.co.uk/guides/best-small-vans/ - but we would suggest looking at options such as the Ford Transit Connect, which has a 1000kg payload and a 1.6-litre diesel engine with a choice of power outputs. It's also impressively car-like to drive. The Citroen Berlingo is also a very popular choice, and is available with petrol or diesel options, as is the Volkswagen Caddy, which is not as spacious as some alternatives but is well built and refined. To be ULEZ compliant the option you choose will need to be Euro 6 if diesel powered which means 2015 onwards, while for petrol vans the standard is slightly lower at Euro 4, which means 2006-onwards, although petrol vans are less common than diesel.
