My Vivaro has a heater problem.

I have a Vauxhall Vivaro, 2007 reg. I have a bad humming noise coming from the passenger side footwell area, a nightmare squeal and it gets louder if you rev up.

I can feel where it's coming from - there are two tubes which carry hot water? Possibly just by the foot heater and they go through to engine area.

Some kind of blockage in the cooling/heating system or a problem with the electric valve into the heater matrix. You could try a cooling system flush (with the heater set to maximum heat to ensure full circulation). If that does not work you may need to replace the electric heater valve.
