Pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews

We have been pleasantly surprised with our Ducato, after reading reviews we were hesitant about what it would be like but after ripping it apart to convert to a camper we have noticed the attention that Fiat have taken with this van. It is as good as any other commercial vehicle I have driven, we joke about the seats as they initially don't feel too comfortable but after a long journey they still feel the same, no pins and needles. Having a dog the interior finish to the cabin suits us fine, muddy paw marks are easily wiped off all the surfaces, after getting use to the additional size, width and length it becomes really easy to drive, our model has the 2019 gearbox and changes are silky smooth, the cab is reasonably quiet with the bulk head in, once this has been removed it's like riding in a drum, it's after sound proofing that you realise most of the noise was coming from the cargo area, after sound proofing it is as quiet as most saloon cars. Driver visibility is great, we compare it to the front seat of a coach. Due to it's dimensions it is probably the best option available to convert to a camper / motor caravan, cost is reasonable and the fuel consumption seems to be in the region of 30 to 33mpg after a conversion.
