How practical it is

Leave your ego at the door and buy probably the only remaining sensibly priced pick up left...

Don't believe the motoring press - go and drive one. Its a bit bouncy unladen and rolls a bit in the corners, but then it's not an MX5! The 2.2 litre engine is quiet and powerful, the auto box is smooth and responsive and this combination makes towing a breeze. The inside is a nice place to be ( leather and all mod cons ).
The 4 x 4 underpinnings are shared with the Rexton so are well proven and durable and, if you like to look after your own vehicles, these are pretty simple and easy to work on.

The run out models ( 2018 ) can be had for £15k with very low miles ( mine was 14K, privately owned - no VAT) .

Alternatively go and spend £15K on an end of life Mitsi, Toyota, Nissan, VW, Ford etc. that's been beaten tom death by multiple drivers and done more miles than the Starship Enterprise!
