This van was purchased new from a Nissan Dealer and was sold as a Nissan when actually its a Renault. Had I realised we wouldn't have purchased due to problems with Renault in the past. The van has low mileage having covered 33k miles from new. In that time it has had the following works carried out.
1. Replacement Gearbox and returned to dealer for a a noisy wheel bearing (warranty)
2. Replacement Battery
3. Replacement break master cylinder returned to dealer 3 times (warranty)
4. Front Break Pads
5. Rear Break Discs & Pads
6. The Spare Wheel Carrier severely rusted await decision when van returns for item 8.
8. Going back to the dealer for an engine leak drivers side rear.
When the gearbox was failing we had to wait months to get the van booked in. We requested Nissan supply a replacement as the gearbox could cause an accident if it seized up, but they refused. It was therefore kept of the road until an effective repair was carried out.
