A lemon

I'm on my second Caravelle and have written a much nicer review of my new one but it's only fair that I review this lemon as well.

2.0 TDI 140 SE in Black was an ex demo with 1200 miles on it when I bought it in july 2013. It failed it's PDI with an A/C compressor failure, after a week it went back with notchy steering, after two weeks with a crankshaft oil seal leak, after three weeks it had a DMF and clutch failure. I then took it 1500 miles through France and came back with another crankshaft oil seal failure.

At this point I swapped it for another van as both the dealer and I had lost the will to live! Despite the problems VW Bridgwater were great supporting me, either collecting or lending me another van whenever it broke (although it's only fair that they should have been helpful as it wasnt cheap). They also did an amazing deal on it's replacement for me (an almost free upgrade to an Executive model)

I feel very sorry for whoever gets this one though as it's a distaster van.
