Absolutely unreliable r******

Bought with 45,000 miles on it to replace van with 160000mls. Had 2 new batteries, 2 Comfort Control units, intercooler, throttle position sensor and various genuine service parts, some of which were faulty out of the box. Now it needs the head gasket and head skimming at 87,000mls. Spent more time under it than driving it ! Got rid of last T5 van because of assorted electrical problems and this one is no better. It takes an appalling amount of time to remove loads of trim/ bumper/ etc. to get at anything which at garage hourly rates is not really acceptable for a commercial vehicle because it increases downtime. I'm not impressed with VW and would not recommend to my worst enemy.
