Overall reliability

excellent little vans, the pick over the rest

mk1 (2000 to 2006) seem v.sluggish but have excellent rev range.
clipss to hoses become loose v.easily over time and not uncommon to see oil leaks and spray.
turbo main bearing wears out, sign of hard use, make the same noise related to a air raid siren!
pcv valve may get blocked over time causing tourbo problems

mk 2 (2007 onwards)
much more revised, and much better, and the definet one to go for)
much more livley, v.simple mechanics and electrics.
turbo main bearing wears out, sign of hard use, make the same noise related to a air raid siren!
pcv valve may get blocked over time causing tourbo problems

(mk 2 shown in the image)
