Seven-seater Nissan e-NV200 launched
Nissan is launching a seven-seater MPV version of its all-electric e-NV200. Prices start at £19,895 when you take into account the government plug-in car grant and choose the Nissan Flex battery leasing option.
Buying the seven-seat e-NV200 outright will cost £23,400 - again including the government grant. The seven-seater has an extra two full-size rear seats which can be individually folded and stowed away.
Nissan says it offers ample leg and head room for seven adults along with a generous 870 litres of boot space, making it an ideal family MPV for the school run. The second row of seats can be rolled forward and folded down to create a 2.94m3 load space, useful if you need to transport bikes.
The e-NV200 should also appeal to private hire firms operating in cities. Nissan says it costs just two pence per mile to run and can cover 106 miles on a single charge. Usefully the battery can be charged from zero to 80 per cent in as little as 30 minutes.
Nissan has also introduced a new Evalia version as a top of the range model. The Evalia comes with rear window privacy glass and extra exterior detailing along with and a more upmarket fully-trimmed interior.
