Vito and Citan now available to Motability users
Mercedes-Benz has added the new Vito Tourer and Citan Tourer models to the Motability scheme, allowing users to choose the spacious van-based MPVs for more affordable up-front payments.
Still, a Vito will cost an £5709 advanced payment, while the smaller Citan a more reasonable £1999. The MPVs cost from £19,571 and £25,686 on the road respectively.
Available to order now, the Vito Tourer comes with eight seats as standard, with the option of nine, and is available in two specifications, Pro and Select. The Citan, meanwhile, comes with up to seven seats.
Both vehicles come with a BlueEfficiency diesel engine, with the Citan managing 65.7mpg combined and the Vito 47.1mpg combined. They are also Euro 6 compliant.
For peace of mind, all models comes as standard with a free call-out service for the UK and Europe called Service24, which includes a provision for minor non-warranty roadside repairs up to £130 value, for free. If the vehicle cannot be repaired it will be towed free, a replacement vehicle provided and - more immediately - the cost of onward transport covered.
