Citroen Nemo Announced
The Citroen Nemo made its world debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show and went on sale in the UK with prices starting at £7995 plus VAT. Engines are 75PS 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.4-litre turbodiesel with 70PS.
Optimal loading height and large side-hinged rear doors and sliding side doors that make the loading bay easily accessible. Bright, modern, roomy cab combines practical, functional features with advanced ergonomics designed to ensure comfort and well-being for intensive professional use. Standard equipment includes power steering for driving comfort, as well as ABS and a driver airbag for enhanced safety. Options include parking sensors, a separate cab locking system and additional storage space.
Proven petrol and diesel engines, both fuel efficient and environmentally friendly (119g/km of CO2 in diesel-equipped versions), contribute to lower running costs. Marketed as the Fiat Fiorino, the Citroen Nemo and the Peugeot Bipper. The 1.4i petrol engine , which is primarily offered for conversion to dual-fuel (petrol/LPG) operation, develops 72PS at 5,200rpm. Its maximum torque is 118Nm at 2,600rpm. The average combined fuel consumption of the Nemo 1.4i is 41.0mpg.

A Dual Fuel version of the Nemo joins the range with a 1.4-litre engine able to run on petrol and LPG. It costs from £8820 plus VAT.
September 2008
Nemo wins the International Van of the Year award.
November 2008
A Sensodrive version of the Nemo arrives with a semi-automatic gearbox that has no clutch pedal for the 1.4 HDi diesel. It offers 64.2mpg average economy and 116g/km CO2 emissions. Priced from £10,195 + VAT.
August 2009
Citroen launches special anniversary edition of Nemo to celebrate the company’s 90th year in business. Only 75 anniversary Nemos are built and each costs £8295 plus VAT.
March 2015
Nemo Grip Control now available
All Nemo HDi 75 manual vans can be specified with the £630 + VAT Grip Control option pack. The pack includes Intelligent Traction Control, raised suspension, 185/65 R15 tyres, under engine protection tray, front and rear mud flaps, door sill protection and deeper side rubbing strips plus a washable cab floor covering.
