What's the most economical small van I can get?
I'm looking to buy a van with a floor load space length of at least 170 cm and my budget is around £4000 - £5000. What is the most economical van I can get?

The old shape Ford Transit Connect should do the job. Short wheelbase versions provide a load length of 174cm and fuel economy for the diesels range from 45-50mpg. There are also lots on the used market, which means you can be quite picky when it comes to condition and price.
