Does the bed of an LGV have to have load bearing ply?
Does the bed of an LGV have to have load bearing ply? Is this a legal thing or not as I work for a company that have used 18m plywood to replace the old deck.

Ply lining is generally installed to protect the van as much as its load, as loads moving around inside can crease or dent the large side panels. There is no legal requirement (in the UK, at least) for the ply to be of any set thickness or load bearing capability.
