Are vans included in the Volkswagen emissions scandal?

I see Volkswagen says that the emissions problems are now affecting cars in Europe.

I have a VW Caddy Maxi 2.0-litre TDI 2012 model is this the engines that are affected.

As it's a van-based model are these classed different from the cars as I have only seen the cars mentioned.

We don't know yet because they haven't told us yet. They have the same ECUs but an ECU can be programmed any way you want.
