My Transit is noisy at 50mph - what could it be?
I have a Ford Transit 2004 LWB 2.4 TDCi. Every time I get to 50mph and up to 60mph there is a loud rumbling noise coming through the vehicle, what could this be?

There could be a number of causes. We'd start with the driveshaft. Have it checked as it is not uncommon for these to fail on high mileage vans. If it’s rear-wheel drive, then it might be the propshaft bearings, which are also a common Transit problem.
