My Ford Transit Custom isn't blowing cold air - what's the issue?

My Ford Transit Custom isn't blowing cold air. The temp gauge also shows no temperature.

First, check the coolant level and, if necessary, top up. Then check to see if the engine is reaching its correct working temp. If not, then suspect the thermostat. If that's okay, then check the two coolant pipes going into the heater matrix (at the bulkhead). They should both be warm (if not then suspect that the heater matrix may be blocked). After that, check that the heater matrix flaps are moving correctly.
