What's the best large, panel van?
I have owned a 2012 Ford Transit van for 2.5 years. I purchased it secondhand and this past year it has given me nothing but grief. I was told that Ford parts where inexpensive to repair, this is utter tosh. What I have spent this past year is simply unacceptable considering the vehicle is only five years old. I have previously owned Ford trucks, Toyota and Chevy - however, this has been the most unreliable vehicle of them all. I will not buy another Ford, to me they are so mass produced that they have forgotten reliability. Could you kindly advise on the best large, mid-range panel van? My budget is £15,000.

If reliability is a concern, I’d be tempted to buy the Toyota Proace. It is sold with a five-year-warranty as standard and is available in a wide range of bodystyles. Most versions will carry three Euro pallets weighing up to 1400kg. vans.honestjohn.co.uk/van-reviews/toyota/proace-20.../
Brand new, a Proace will set you back roughly £20,000 including VAT, but there are a few pre-reg deals at the moment and £15,000 should secure a nearly new van from a Toyota dealer with delivery mileage.
