Overall reliability
210k so far
Done 210k so far. Still drives the same as it was when it was 100k.
I keep it serviced correctly. And do about 30k miles in it per year, half motorway half country lanes.
I spend about 2k on it per year to fix it. But I feel this is still cheaper than upgrading to a newer euro6 van. If I did upgrade, all I would get is an an improvement is more modern Speedo etc.
Main gripe is the lack is security the van has. Spend 500-1k to deadlock it etc etc etc, recently seen one hot wired within a minute.
I hear very bad stories about the reliability of the newer engines, from friends with garages, even the AA have told me stay clear of the newer ones. New engines after 35k miles, no thanks.
